I’m really convinced that Codio is a fantastic IDE better than any other cloud IDE around (and believe me I tried to integrate lot of them in my workflow but with no luck in the past years).
As a Sublime Text coder the only things I miss of it are all those small shortcuts that make my life easier and (I’m pretty sure) longer.
I’m talking about:
swap lines up and down (see this post or try ctrl+shift+up / ctrl+shift+down in SB or CodePen)
scroll lines up and down (try ctrl+up / ctrl+down in SB or CodePen)
scroll past end (“scroll_past_end”: true in SB preferences)
find_under_expand (see this other post from the same user). In Sublime Text (and CodePen too) is mapped to ctrl+d. Basically it selects the word under your cursor and if you do it again it starts selecting all the references of that word in your code (in sb you can also skip a line using [“ctrl+k”, “ctrl+d”])
What do you think about that and most important thing which are your SB shortcuts/features you can’t live without?
I’m not talking about cloning Sublime Text. Codio has its own personality. I use it every day and I really do love it. I’m just talking about future improvements and features I’d like to use. That’s it!
