What is the issue with this text?
Countries such as Africa have seen a huge increase in the use of mobile phones for online activities because of the very weak or non-existent landline activity.
After that, I don’t think codio can talk about cultural issues!
I cannot believe that codio has said that Africa is a country on OCR GCSE (J276) Theory, Ethical, legal and cultural concerns lesson 1. I thought this was a professional site, discarding the common grammatical errors, but have now come to know that they cannot tell the difference between a country and a continent, like a large part of the population. Africa is in fact 54 different countries, all with a variety of cultures, yet they are grouped together by codio. This leaves room for huge stereotypes which are thriving already, such as the misconception that all Africans are poor. Isn’t it the same as saying “Countries such as Europe” or “Countries such as Asia”? I am expecting codio to take this down.
